OSHAD Consultancy & Auditing

  • In February 2010, Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHAD) was established to ensure the implementation of a comprehensive and integrated management system for occupational safety and health (OSH) and to oversee all OSH issues at Emirate level, to ensure reduction of incidents, injuries and illnesses and provision of safe and healthy workplaces.
  • We Eminence Consultancy providing OSH consultancy services to entities who is seeking support from a professional consultant in development of their OSH system as per the OSHAD SF requirements for registering their OSH system with Sector Regulatory Authority (SRA). 
  • OSHAD consultancy includes: 
        • Development of OSH system i.e. OSH policy, manual, procedures, SOP, registers, templates and checklist

        • Uploading signed OSH system on Al Adaa portal for review and approval from SRA

        • OSH implementation support for entities already having approved OSH system from SRA

        • Corrective actions for OSH documents re-submission on Al Adaa portal

  • Under the requirements of OSHAD SF – Management System Element -Element 08– Audit and Inspection – Version 3.1, March 2017, all entities shall undertake within one year of OSH approval an annual third party audits and then in an annual basis thereafter.
  • Entities having approval on OSH management system from SRA shall undergo an annual third party audit that as a minimum meets the following criteria:
        • Review of the entity’s approved OSH MS to ensure regulatory compliance to the OSHAD-SF, concerned SRA requirements and other Federal and Emirate OSH requirements

        • A systematic examination to determine whether activities and related results conform to planned arrangements.

        •  The audit shall determine whether these arrangements are implemented effectively and are appropriate in achieving the entity’s objectives
